Brand: Mitsubishi

The Mitsubishi LT-1 was a prototype sports car developed by Mitsubishi Motors in the 1960s. It was engineered with the intention of competing in international motorsports, particularly Group 4 and Group 5 category races. The LT-1 was powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engined that produced around 255 horsepower. It had a MOD-1 (Modified 1) suspension system, which allowed for exceptional handling and stability during high-speed turns. The car's lightweight carbon fiber body played a significant role in its performance, which helped it produce an impressive power-to-weight ratio. The LT-1 also featured vented disc brakes all around, making it an outstanding performer when it came to braking as well.Although the Mitsubishi LT-1 never made it to production, it served as an important stepping stone towards the development of Mitsubishi's Colt Galant Group B rally car in the 1980s. Its impact on the auto industry also helped pave the way for the design of Mitsubishi's iconic sports car, the Dodge/Plymouth Colt and the Mitsubishi Eclipse.Today, the Mitsubishi LT-1 is considered a rare and valuable collector's item due to its exceptional design and contributions to the evolution of Mitsubishi's sports and performance car lineup.
