The Mitsubishi LT-10V is a heavy-lift transport helicopter designed and manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for both military and civilian applications. It is powered by two General Electric CT7 turboshaft engines, each producing 2,450 shaft horsepower, and can carry up to 10 tons of payload, making it one of the most powerful transport helicopters in the world.The LT-10V has a maximum speed of around 240 km/h (150 mph), a cruising speed of around 210 km/h (130 mph), and a range of around 720 km (448 miles) with an external tank. It has a maximum altitude of around 6,100 meters (20,000 feet) and can operate in hot, high, and high-altitude environments with its high power output and advanced engineering.The LT-10V is in service with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) for various missions, including troop transport, rescue operations, and construction work.
