The Grace F-10 C was a military transport aircraft developed by the Canadian manufacturer, Grace Aircraft, in the late 1950s. It was designed to replace the aging Waco CG-4A and pray Avro Anson Mk. VII aircraft in the Canadian Armed Forces. The Grace F-10 C was a twin-engine, high-wing aircraft with a capacity of 24 troops, or 3,100 pounds of cargo. It had a maximum speed of 205 knots and a range of 800 nautical miles. The F-10 C was fitted with numerous military-specific features, including rear loading doors and fixed floatation gear.Grace Aircraft has produced only a small number of F-10 C aircraft, with just 20 being delivered to the Canadian Armed Forces between 1959 and 1961. Despite being successful in military service, Grace Aircraft ceased operations in 1964, and the F-10 C was retired from service in the late 1970s.Today, a few surviving F-10 C aircraft can be found in museums and private collections around the world, serving as a reminder of the history and legacy of this unique and important military transport aircraft.
