Brand: Grace

The Grace F-10 L, otherwise known as the "Grace Arrow", was a British jet airliner developed in the late 1950s. It was designed to compete with other small turbojet-powered aircraft in the market, including the rival de Havilland DH.112 and the Vickers VC.1 Viking. The Grace F-10 L featured a sleek, streamlined design with a single Rolls-Royce Dart Mk.513 turbojet engine mounted under the rear fuselage. It could accommodate 26 passengers in a relatively spacious cabin, making it a popular choice for both domestic and regional routes. The aircraft entered service with Raymond Grace Aviation, a British airline, in 1959. It quickly gained a reputation for its high reliability, efficient fuel consumption, and comfortable passenger experience. It also gained notoriety as the first British regional jetliner, paving the way for the development of larger and more advanced regional aircraft in the coming decades.Despite its successes, the Grace F-10 L faced stiff competition from newer and more advanced jetliners entering the market in the early 1960s. Raymond Grace Aviation replaced the aircraft with more modern planes over time, and the last F-10 L was retired in 1965. The Grace Arrow remains a significant milestone in the history of British aviation, showcasing the growth of British regional aviation and setting the stage for future innovations in this field.
