Brand: Technics

The Technics SL-QL5 is a former VL (Variable Length) turntable model that was part of the Quartz Series line-up produced by Technics, a brand under the Panasonic Corporation. Introduced in 1987, the SL-QL5 featured a quartz-controlled oscillator, which provided improved accuracy and stability in speed, as well as a unique「Quick Start」 mechanism that reduced the start-up time of the turntable. Its VL platter design offered reduced resonance and improved sound quality. The model's direct drive system, along with the S-shaped tonearm and a market-leading frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz,-3 dB, contributed to the SL-QL5's acclaimed reputation in the audio industry. While the model is no longer in production, it continues to maintain a following among vinyl enthusiasts for its sound quality and timeless design.
