Brand: Technics

The Technics SL-Q300 is a turntable model released by the Japanese electronics company Panasonic (formerly known as National/Matsushita) under its premium audio brand, Technics. The SL-Q300 was introduced in 2018 as part of the reintroduction of the Technics brand in the hi-fi market. The SL-Q300 has a sleek, minimalist design, featuring a brushed aluminum top plate, a black acrylic platter, and a plinth made of a combination of resin and wood fibers. The tonearm is a straight-type design, with a detachable headshell that accepts full-size cartridges such as the EMX-500, which has a low-contact-force design of 1.8g.In terms of performance, the SL-Q300 uses a belt-drive mechanism with an AC synchronous motor. The turntable employs a high-precision die-cast aluminum platter, which features Technics' proprietary two-material construction (i.e., a combination of high-density fibre and vinyl material). The turntable also includes a built-in phono preamp, as well as a ground terminal for connecting the turntable directly to an amplifier or receiver.Overall, the SL-Q300 is a high-performance turntable aimed at audiophiles and vinyl collectors looking for a modern, high-tech turntable that maintains traditional analogue design elements.
