The Technics RS-671 is a discontinued compact cassette deck produced by the Japanese electronics company, Panasonic (formerly Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd). It was specifically designed for the North American market, with models for other regions having different model numbers.The RS-671 was introduced in 1988 and was part of Panasonic's RS-600 series of high-end audio equipment. It featured analog playback and recording, Dual Capacitor heads, and Dolby B/C/S noise reduction technology. It also had DC servo control and a smooth start/stop mechanism for improved internal component handling. This deck was well-regarded in the audiophile community and is still sought after by vintage gear enthusiasts today.
