Brand: Technics

The Technics RS-678 (US) is a mid-range home hi-fi component, originally released by the Japanese electronics company, Panasonic (formerly known as Matsushita), in the late 1980s. It served as an upgrade to the RS-658 model and featured a direct-drive turntable, quartz-controlled oscillator, and a Universal Audio Interface (UAI) for connecting external audio sources such as CD players and cassette decks for playback through the turntable. The RS-678 was renowned for its exceptional sound quality, sturdy build, and durability, which has earned it a place among collectors and audiophiles as a vintage gem today.
