It featured a compact TCM900CP-2 processor running at 8 MHz, 128 KB of RAM, and a built-in 5.25" floppy disk drive. The EPC-405C came with an integrated CGA-compatible graphics card and supported file formats such as GW-BASIC and MS-DOS. Its operating system was MS-DOS 2.11, and it had Microsoft's Windows 2.0 also available for installation.
