Brand: Proton

The Proton 520 (also known as the Waja) is a mid-sized sedan that was produced by the Malaysian automaker, Proton, from 2003 to 2011. It was originally introduced as a replacement for the Proton Wira and featured a sleek and modern design, with a spacious interior and a range of engine options, including a 1.6-liter and a 2.0-liter variant. The 520 was marketed as an affordable and reliable option for drivers in Southeast Asia and received positive reviews for its comfort, handling, and value for money. However, it faced stiff competition from rivals like the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla, and as the market shifted towards smaller and more fuel-efficient cars, demand for the 520 declined. In 2011, Proton stopped producing the model and replaced it with the newer Proton Prevé, which featured more advanced technology and a newer design.
