The National RQ-706S is a medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial system (UAS) developed by National Defense Industries (NDI), a subsidiary of the Turkish military equipment manufacturer, Aselsan. This UAS is designed for surveillance, reconnaissance, and intelligence gathering missions in a variety of terrains, including rural, urban, and coastal areas. It is equipped with advanced sensor and communication systems and can operate in all weather conditions. The National RQ-706S has a wingspan of 9 meters and a maximum takeoff weight of 350 kg, with a range of up to 100 kilometers and an endurance of up to 12 hours. This UAS is operational with the Turkish Armed Forces and is being commercialized internationally for export.
