Brand: NAD

The NAD (National Resources Defense Council) 5300 is not a consumer electronics product. The NAD (National Air Defence Command) 5300 was a part of the Canada's air defense system during the Cold War era. It was a phased array radar system designed to detect and track enemy aircraft over a large range. The system was in operation from the 1970s until the 1990s when it was decommissioned and replaced by more advanced technology.
