The Sony CDP-C535 is a compact disc player (CDP) released by Sony Corporation in the mid-1990s. It incorporates Sony's proprietary Digital Out processing to improve the digital output signal's stability and signal-to-noise ratio. The player also features a Direct Digital Output mode that bypasses any phase-locked loop (PLL) circuits in the CDP-C535, providing a pure digital signal output with reduced jitter. This model also supports playback of extended Super Audio CD (SACD) and MP3 discs using an optional companion disc drive for SACD playback. The CDP-C535 has a front-mounted LCD display, motorized mechanisms, and an aluminum (Al) and glass build, projecting an elegant and sleek appearance.
