The Mitsubishi DD-5000 is a 5,000-ton destroyer that was built for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) in the late 1990s. It is the lead ship of the company's 26DD destroyer class, which also includes the DD-151 and DD-152 ships.The DD-5000 is equipped with advanced weapons systems, including the Mitsubishi FS-3B multi-role combat aircraft, as well as anti-submarine warfare and anti-aircraft missiles.
