DCM (Directly Controlled Motor) DCM26 is an EPCOS-branded integrated circuit used in controlling the speed and direction of brushless DC (permanent magnet synchronous) motors. This particular model, DCM26, is a single-channel H-Bridge driver with an integrated PWM controller, capable of supplying up to 40 V and 4 A of output current. Its features include a 64-step incremental encoder input for closed-loop control (which provides high precision and low audible noise), adjustable current limit, soft start and braking facility, as well as a nominal supply voltage of 12 V.
