Brand: Technics

The Technics SL-MC7 is a turntable that was produced by the Japanese electronics company Panasonic (formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.) under the Technics brand. It is part of the Technics MC (Modified Concept) series, which represents an evolution of the classic SL-1200 turntable. The SL-MC7 features a fully manual operating system, including a metal shaft tonearm featuring a fan-shaped bearing structure for reduced friction and increased stability. The turntable also has a high-torque direct-drive system capable of rotating at speeds of 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM. The turntable employs a double-layered platter made of aluminum and resin, with special material damping for reduced resonance and noise. Additionally, the SL-MC7 is equipped with a switchable MC/MM cartridge system, facilitating the use of moving coil (MC) pickups. This feature, along with the turntable's high degree of customization, has made it a popular choice among audiophiles and vinyl enthusiasts.
