It was released in 1982 as part of Technics' legendary SL-1200 series of turntables.The RS-M273 features a belt-drive system with a uniquely designed sub-platter that reduces resonance and further isolates the platter from external vibrations, directly contributing to an improved sound quality. It also features a high-torque DC servo motor, a Quartz crystal-controlled pitch lock, and a hydraulically-dampedc tonearm with an EAS (Electrically Adjustable Setup) mechanism that allows for precise tracking force and anti-skating adjustments.
