Brand: Sony
The Sony MZ-NE410 is a first-generation MiniDisc (MD) portable audio player that was introduced by Sony in 1993. It was one of the earliest examples of a digital audio player, allowing users to store and playback high-quality audio using MiniDiscs, which are about one-third the size of a standard CD. The Sony MZ-NE410 had a sleek and compact design with a built-in antenna for FM radio reception. It featured high-quality sound reproduction using Sony's Digital Sound Processing (DSP) technology and had the ability to record using a built-in microphone or from external sources via a line input. The device supported fast-forward, rewind, and play, pause, and stop functions, as well as programmable presets for favorite stations and discs. Moreover, the MZ-NE410 could be connected to other external devices like TVs and stereos through an additional pack that includes an RCA output cable. While MiniDiscs eventually fell out of favor as other digital audio storage formats became more popular, the Sony MZ-NE410 remains an iconic device from the early days of digital audio technology, paving the way for the portable music players we use today.
