Brand: Sansui

The Sansui R-505 (also known as the R-505) is a vintage integrated amplifier that was produced by the Japanese electronics company Sansui in the late 1970s. It is known for its powerful sound and high-quality components, including a toroidal transformer, selected capacitors, and an amplification circuit that reportedly uses squarish clipping for a more natural, less distorted sound. The R-505 has become popular among audiophiles and collectors because of its reputation for delivering rich, detailed sound and its distinctive design, which includes a black metal fascia and glass panel. While it is no longer in production, some models of the R-505 continue to be highly sought after and can fetch high prices on the used market.
