Brand: Sansui

The Sansui FR-D40 is an old-school stereo receiver that was released by the Japanese electronics company Sansui during the 1980s. The FR-D40 is a part of Sansui's high-end FR-D series of receivers, and it features a solid-state circuitry with Dickson voltage regulation, which was a popular technology for audio circuitry during that time. Some of the other notable features of the FR-D40 include an FM/AM tuner, three tuning memories, three line-level inputs, one phono input for turntables, a power output of 60 watts per channel, and a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz (+/- 3dB). While the Sansui FR-D40 is now a vintage item, it is still considered a solid and reliable performer for its era, and it is sought after by audiophiles and collectors alike for its clean, detailed, and dynamic audio output.
