The Sansui AU-517 is an integrated amplifier that was produced by the Japanese electronics company, Sansui, during the early 1980s. It features a power output of 35 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 65 watts per channel into 4 ohms. The amplifier has a purported frequency response range of 20 Hz to 50 kHz, channel separation of 70 dB, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 85 dB. It also incorporates a MOSFET output stage, direct input, and a variable tape monitor. The design is encased in a modernist and angular metal chassis, with Sansui's signature bamboo inlays on the top panel.
