The Rega RB900 is a high-performance tonearm designed for use with turntables that utilize a 1000 Series tonearm board. It features a newly developed bearing assembly utilizing a customised, high-flag bearings surrounded by silver-plated, brass bonded cups that result in lower friction and improved isolation. The tonearm tube has a new lower-volume carbon fiber profile, resulting in lower residual vibrations. The armtube and headshell are manufactured from high-quality carbon fiber and the tonearm cable is upgraded with a high-quality RCAs plugs. The RB900's aerodynamic insert eliminates any surface interference between the cartridge and the record surface, and the counterweight has been redesigned to reduce unwanted cassette type detritus gathering underneath it.
