Brand: Pioneer

The Pioneer SA-8500 (mkI) is a high-end integrated amplifier that was introduced by Pioneer Corporation in the late 1980s. It offers powerful output of 150 watts per channel into eight ohms or 220 watts into four ohms, making it suitable for driving a wide variety of speakers. The amp features a class AB output circuit and uses Pioneer's Active Phase Canceling (APC) technology to reduce noise in the system. It also has a digital input section, including FM stereo and digital audio inputs, as well as a tape monitor input and remote control. The SA-8500 (mkI) is known for its clear and detailed sound reproduction, making it a popular choice among audiophiles and music enthusiasts. It was replaced by the improved mkII version, which added a Phono input, but the original (mkI) version remains highly regarded among collectors and vintage audio enthusiasts.
