Brand: Pioneer

The Pioneer PL-670 is a turntable model that was introduced by the Pioneer Corporation in the mid-1980s. It is part of Pioneer's Plasmot brand, which was known for its high-quality audio equipment. The PL-670 features a heavy, high-density MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) plinth and a PCVC (Polycarbonate Vacuum-molded Casing) casing, which helps to reduce vibrations and minimize resonance. The turntable also has a dual, steel-subplatter construction that improves stability and reduces resonance even further. The PL-670 operates at a speed of 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM and features a high-torque, fixed-output DC motor that is induction-heaped and chokes the power supply, providing excellent tracking abilities. The turntable also has a lightweight, silver-plated PCVC tonearm that is factory-balanced and a phono-capable moving magnet (MM) cartridge.Additional features of the PL-670 include a hinged, B-shaped dust cover, a felt-lined record storage tray, and a removable drive belt. The turntable can be connected via RCA array outputs, and it comes with an AC adapter (AC-4YE). Overall, the Pioneer PL-670 is a high-performing, entry-level turntable that delivers excellent sound quality.
