Brand: Ortofon

Ortofon Type B is a replacement stylus (also known as a cartridge needle) for Ortofon's cartridges, such as the popular Quintet and Cadenza series. It is designed for use with Ortofon tonearms that have a cantilever length of 5mm and a head-shell distance of 10mm. The Type B has a high-output, low-impedance design, delivering a rich, detailed sound with excellent tracking ability. It is a balanced, all-purpose stylus suitable for a wide range of vinyl recordings. Ortofon recommends replacing styluses approximately every 1,000 to 1,500 hours of use, or as soon as any signs of wear or damage are observed.
