The Ortofon 530 II is a high-performance, moving magnet phono cartridge. It is the successor to the successful Ortofon 530, which was introduced in 1975. The 530 II features a nude Shibata stylus with a high level of accuracy and resolution, as well as a cantilever made from boron. The cartridge body is made from aluminum and holds a neodymium magnet for high output and low internal noise. The Ortofon 530 II is suitable for a wide range of turntables and cartridge systems, providing excellent tracking ability and a rich and dynamic sound reproduction with great detail and micro-dynamics.
