The Nikko NA-990 is a digital camcorder released by the Japanese electronics company, Sankyo Seiko (known as Nikko in certain markets) in the late 1990s. It features a 480 x 480 pixel CCD sensor, as well as a 32-bit DSP and an LCD screen for viewing and playback of footage. Other notable features include real-time MPEG compression, USB connectivity, and built-in microphone and speaker. While it may be considered an Obsolete device by modern standards, it was a relatively advanced camcorder for its time and helped to pave the way for further developments in portable digital video.
