The Nakamichi MR-1 is an MP3 player released by the Japanese electronics company Nakamichi in the early 2000s. It was one of the first MP3 players to feature a compact, pocket-sized design. The MR-1 had a capacity of 128 MB, which could hold approximately 30-40 songs. It used a proprietary connection format to connect to a computer, and had a rechargeable battery with a runtime of approximately 10 hours continuous playback. The MR-1 was discontinued in favor of newer, more advanced MP3 players from Nakamichi and other companies in the subsequent years.
