Moon 850P is a high-performance audio network streamer and DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) by the German audio manufacturer, Simaudio. It features multiple input options, including AES/EBU, S/PDIF, TOSlink, Ethernet, and USB. The device supports bitrates up to 32-bit/768kHz natively and up to DSD256 via DoP (DSD over PCM). It also features MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) decoding and rendering. The Moon 850P offers flexible connectivity options, including balanced and single-ended analog outputs, as well as digital outputs via AES/EBU, USB, and Ethernet. The device runs on a custom Linux operating system and comes with an intuitive web-based interface for setup and configuration. Additionally, it supports control via RS-232, IR, and IP commands for integration into custom installations.
