Brand: Mitsubishi

The Mitsubishi DT-51 is a four-stroke, single-cylinder diesel engine introduced by Mitsubishi in the late 1950s. It had a displacement of 1.9 liters and produced a maximum power output of 14.5 PS (10.8 kW) at 2,800 rpm when initially released. This engine was commonly used in agricultural and construction machinery such as tractors, generators, and water pumps due to its reliability, excellent fuel economy, and low maintenance requirements. In some applications, twin DT-51 engines were employed to provide better power output and reliability. The engine's design and technology have since evolved, and newer engines from Mitsubishi, like the D17U and D18U, have taken its place in modern machines. However, the DT-51's legacy lives on in the form of its robustness and the reputation it earned for dependability and durability.
