The Mitsubishi DA-A15DC is a type of aircraft engine manufactured by Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The engine is a turboprop powerplant designed for use in regional airliners and commuter aircraft. It has a maximum power output of 1,300 shp (970 kW) at takeoff, with a thrust rating of 1,500 shp (1,100 kW) for Military Transport Command uses. The engine features a three-stage compressor, a single centrifugal compressor, and a single-stage turbine, as well as a three-stage power turbine, all designed for high reliability and low maintenance costs. The DA-A15DC is intended to replace older turboprop engines in the Mitsubishi SpaceJet regional airliner, which is under development by Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation.
