Leak CDT (Chemical Dosimetry Technique) is a chemical analysis method used to measure the radiation dose received by materials or samples. This technique involves exposing a receptor material (such as polymer films or Silica gel) to radiation and then measuring the chemical changes that occur in the receptor material as a result of the radiation. The degree of chemical changes is directly proportional to the radiation dose received. By analyzing these chemical changes through various analytical methods (such as spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, or mass spectrometry), the radiation dose can be accurately determined. Leak CDT is particularly useful for measuring radiation doses in situations where radiation field measurement devices may not be practical, such as inside tight spaces or vessels.
