The Kenwood KR-6160 is a multiband shortwave radio receiver that covers frequencies from 1710 kHz to 30 MHz. It features three independent tuners for simultaneous reception of multiple frequencies, as well as synchronous and double-sideband (SSB) mode reception. It also has an AM modulator and a BCD frequency counter. Other features include a built-in loudspeaker, external speaker and earphone jack, and a recording/playback function using an external device. The KR-6160 has a stylish wood-grain finish and comes with a remote control.
