The JBL 6010 (B) is a high-performance loudspeaker model by JBL, part of their M2 Master Reference Monitor series. It is designed for professional audio monitoring applications, particularly in recording studios, mastering rooms, and post-production facilities. The JBL 6010 (B) features a 1-inch (25mm) soft-dome tweeter with a vented magnetic assembly, optimized ferrofluid, and a patented Waveguide with a Quadring Carbon Nanet Radiator (QCNR) Technology for improved dispersion characteristics. The midrange-bass driver is a 5-inch (127mm) cast-frame unit with a specially developed ['red'] ceramic magnet using JBL's proprietary Differential Drive technology, which reduces distortion and provides high levels of output with accuracy and control. The cabinet is made of thin-walled, but very stiff and strong, XP material, resonance-optimized with multiple internal reinforcements, bracing, and decouplers. Theooth-trapezoidal cabinet walls are finely textured with optimized spatial dispersion and low diffraction properties. The rear side is finished with a bass-reflex port for providing additional low-frequency output and quick response. The JBL 6010 (B) has a frequency range of 47Hz - 40kHz (+/-3dB), maximum SPL of 118dB, and omnidirectional response, making it ideal for near- and mid-field monitoring applications. It is available in both white (JB6010W-NT) and black (JB6010B-NT) finishes and designed to meet the rigorous demands of today's audio professionals.
