The Hitachi TRK-620 is a hard disk drive (HDD) that was introduced by Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (now a part of Western Digital) in 2010. The TRK-620 has a storage capacity of 620 GB, with a rotational speed of 7,200 RPM and SATA 6 Gbps interface. The drive also features a SATA 3 Gbps compatible (backwards compatible) interface, making it compatible with older systems that use SATA 3 Gbps. The TRK-620 is designed for use in mainstream desktop and workstation systems, and was phased out in 2012 as it was replaced by newer drives with higher capacities.
