Brand: Grace

The Grace F-9 U (also known as F-9U and TF-9U) was a subsonic fighter aircraft developed by Grace Aircraft Company in the United States during the late 1940s. It was a variant of the F9F Panther, produced by McDonnell Aircraft Corporation, specifically designed for jet pilot training. The Grace F-9 U featured a dual cockpit with side-by-side seating, an extended nose for improved visibility, and specialized instrumentation for pilot training. It entered service in the US Navy in 1949 and was used for advancedjet training until retirement in the 1950s. Many examples have since been preserved as warbirds.
