Brand: Garrard

The Garrard SL 72B was a high-end turntable introduced by the British manufacturer Garrard in the late 1960s. It was part of Garrard's Super Lip reel-to-reel tape machine line and featured a heavy-duty acrylic plinth, a suspended Sub Platter design, and a high-torque synchronous motor. The SL 72B included a factory-fitted Ortofon T500 cartridge, which was considered one of the best carts of the time. The turntable was also available as a standalone unit, and it was prized for its excellent tracking performance and low wow and flutter. The SL 72B gained a reputation for its sonic accuracy and longevity, with many still in operation today.
