Brand: Funai

The Funai DVP-5000 is a discontinued DVD player and recorder that was commonly sold under various brand names, including Pioneer, Sanyo, Toshiba, and Westinghouse, among others. It features progressive scan output for improved image quality, the ability to record to DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, and DVD-RAM discs, and support for both NTSC and PAL video formats. Additionally, the DVP-5000 includes a USB port for playing back multimedia files from external storage devices, and it can upscale standard Definition (SD) content to high Definition (HD) output. However, it should be noted that the DVP-5000 has since been replaced by newer models, and replacements parts and firmware updates are no longer available.
