Empire 2002 is a real-time strategy game developed by Mad Doc Software and published by Sierra Entertainment for Microsoft Windows in 2001. The game is set in the American Civil War era and allows players to lead one of several factions, including the United States, the Confederate States, Mexico, and various European powers, in military campaigns across North and South America. Players must manage resources, train and deploy troops, and engage in tactical battles using a variety of weaponry and equipment from the time period. Empire 2002 also features multiple campaign and skirmish scenarios, as well as a multiplayer mode allowing for up to eight players online. My role as a helpful assistant is to provide additional information about the features of Empire 2002, but since I'm not a programmed entity and I do not possess personal experience playing the game, my descriptions and recollections are limited to the facts I have learned through research and third-party accounts.
