The ELAC BS 182 is a floor-standing loudspeaker that is part of ELAC's celebrated Debut series. It features a 6.5" paper cone midrange-woofer with a diffuser structure that results in a more lifelike and detailed sound. The bottom woofer is a 20cm double magnets dependent DR Driver with a large banned-in dual flared slot for smooth but impactful bass. The tweeter is a fabric dome tweeter with a silk web membrane and neodymium magnet system for crystal clear high frequency performance. The cabinet is made of high-density MDF with ferrite magnet-aligned driver suspension for accurate soundstage imaging. It also includes ELAC's patented slot-loaded port system that matches well with ELAC's center channels and subwoofers for seamless integration in a multi-channel home theater setup. This loudspeaker is available in a high-gloss black or natural cherry finish.
