Brand: Collaro

Collaro 2010 is a red wine produced by the winery of the same name, located in the province of Varese in the Piedmont region of Italy. This particular vintage, or year, was released in 2012 and is a blend of the Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and Uva Rara grape varieties. Nebbiolo is a well-known grape in the region and is often used to produce Barolo and Barbaresco wines, while Vespolina and Uva Rara are lesser-known and rarely used in wines outside of the Varese region. According to Collaro's website, their 2010 vintage exhibits notes of red and black fruits, spices, and flowers, with a long, elegant finish. The wine has been aged for 24 months in Barriques and 12 months in oak barrels, giving it complexity and structure. The Collaro 2010 is recommended to drink now through 2035, but it's always wise to taste and enjoy wine at your personal preference.
