Arista 1449 is a 10GbE SFP+ Direct Attach Cable (DAC) that can directly connect two servers, switches or storage devices at a distance of up to 15 meters (50 feet). It is compatible with Arista's wider family of 14GbE/10GbE DACs, including both unidirectional (1X) and bidirectional (2X) configurations. The Arista 1449 DAC features turnkey interoperability, low power consumption, low latency, and reliable plug-and-play connectivity. It is designed to improve network efficiency, reduce cable clutter, and improve signal integrity over traditional copper patch cords.
