Brand: Threshold audio

The Threshold Audio FET Nine is a high-end Integrated Amplifier that combines the best aspects of traditional tube amplifiers and modern solid-state technology. It utilizes nine FET (Field Effect Transistor) amplifying stages to provide exceptional audio quality and Low-Level Detail Retrieval. The FET Nine has an output power of 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, making it capable of driving a wide variety of loudspeakers with ease. One of the unique features of the Threshold FET Nine is its Class-A, Zero Feedback circuitry, which eliminates the need for negative feedback and ensures that every audio signal passing through the amplifier is reproduced in its natural, purest form. Additionally, it has an RDS (Resistive-DC-Soft Start) circuit, which prolongs the life of connected loudspeakers by reducing inrush current during startup. The amplifier is housed in a sturdy, dual-level enclosure, which includes a high-quality double-sided aluminum top panel, front and rear 1/4" thick aluminum faceplates and rack ears, and an efficiently engineered internal sub-frame that provides rigid structural support. This results in a low internal noise floor, a critical component in achieving outstanding audio performance.Other features of the Threshold Audio FET Nine include balanced XLR and RCA inputs, a detachable power cord, and high-quality polypropylene capacitors in the power supply. At its core, the Threshold Audio FET Nine delivers a high level of audio fidelity, low noise, and excellent reliability.
