Brand: Technics

The Technics ST-G4 was a high-end compact audio system that was introduced by the Japanese electronics company, Panasonic (then known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.), in the mid-1970s. It was part of the Technics series, which was known for producing some of the best audio equipment during that time. The ST-G4 consisted of a separate amplifier and a turntable that used a quartz-controlled crystal oscillator and a belt-drive system to eliminate any unwanted vibrations that might affect the sound quality. It also featured a unique tonearm design with an unusually long counterweight, which allowed for better tracking and reduced the need for frequent adjustments. With a power output of 2 x 50 watts, the ST-G4 produced a warm and detailed sound that was considered a benchmark for high-fidelity audio at the time. Its innovative design and impressive performance earned it numerous awards and accolades, cementing its place in audio history as a true classic.
