Brand: Technics

The Technics RS-M224 is a belt-drive turntable introduced by the Japanese consumer electronics company Panasonic (formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.) in the late 1990s. It's part of the Technics SL-R1000 Direct Drive System of turntables, and it features a precise Shibata-designed magnetic cartridge, a lightweight aluminum diecast chassis, a special damping material called HD vinyl mat, and a newly designed motor mechanism that reduces unwanted noise and vibration. The RS-M224 is considered a high-end audiophile turntable, and it is still sought-after by audiophiles today, although it is no longer in production.
