Restek EPOS (Electronic Pressure Overload System) is a safety feature designed to protect users from over-pressurization events during sample injection or conditioning in analytical instrument systems. The EPOS system constantly monitors the pressure levels in the sample injection system and automatically shuts down the instrument in the event of an over-pressure condition. This feature helps prevent damage to the instrument and ensures user safety during operation. Restek offers EPOS as an optional accessory for many of its sample introduction products, including syringe pumps, autosamplers, and manifold systems. The EPOS system is also available as a retrofit upgrade for older instruments lacking this essential safety feature.
