The Rega Planar 3 (R200) is a turntable that combines traditional analogue values with modern manufacturing methods. Its hand-assembled RB200 tonearm is new from the ground up, using an innovative, low-mass construction principle that features a unique bearing housing and highly sophisticated bearing assembly. This helps to maintain the accurate structure and low-coloration performance that are so characteristic of all Planar products. Additionally, the precision-moulded phenolic resin plinth provides a massively stiff, resonance-free, platform for the turntable engine.
