Brand: Pioneer

The Pioneer QX-747A is a discontinued bookshelf speaker model that was part of Pioneer's X-Series line. It featured a 1" soft dome tweeter and 4.5" woofer with a polypropylene cone. The speaker enclosure was rectangular in shape with a reinforced MDF construction for enhanced durability and reduced resonance. The frequency response range was 55Hz to 40kHz, with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms and a recommended amplifier power of 20 to 150 watts. As a review unit, the QX-747A earned positive feedback from audio enthusiasts and reviewers for its impressive balance, detail, and clarity, especially in the midrange and upper frequency ranges. The relatively small size and sleek design also made it a popular choice for space-saving installations in smaller rooms or multi-channel home theater setups. However, the QX-747A is no longer in production, and Pioneer has since released newer models in its speaker line.
