The CDJ-800 (mk1) features a CD drive that can play audio CDs and MP3 discs, a built-in digital display, and a jog dial for vinyl-style scratching. It also has a beat counter and a tempo slider for adjusting the playing speed. The CDJ-800 (mk1) was replaced by the CDJ-800 (mk2) in 2007, which included USB compatibility and an improved interface.
