Brand: Moon

The Moon Equinox, also known as the Harvest Moon, is a celestial event that occurs annually. It happens when the center of the full moon coincides with the celestial equator, which occurs twice a year, once in March during the Spring Equinox, and once in September during the Autumn Equinox. During the Moon Equinox, day and night are roughly equal in duration all over the Earth, as the tilt of the Earth's axis is essentially perpendicular to the sun's rays. This event marks the beginning of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and spring in the Southern Hemisphere. The name "Harvest Moon" comes from the time when farmers could harvest their crops under the full moon's bright light, enabling them to extend their workday without the use of artificial light. The next Moon Equinox is expected to occur on September 22, 2021.
